1. Her Earth. Her Rights

Type: Nationwide Advocacy & Rights Campaign

Objective: Advance environmental democracy, strengthen environmental rights protection, and enhance access to justice for women and frontline communities.

Key Actions:

  • National advocacy for gender-responsive environmental policies and enforcement.
  • Community legal literacy and rights awareness campaigns.
  • Support for community-led environmental monitoring and documentation.
  • Strategic engagement with Parliament, NEMA, and district councils.

Expected Results / Impact:

  • Stronger national and local advocacy networks championing women's environmental rights.
  • Increased public awareness and documentation of environmental injustices.
  • Improved access to justice and remedy for women and communities.
  • Policy shifts toward gender-responsive environmental governance.

Ancestors of the Future Campaign Image

6. "We Are the Ancestors of the Future We Create Today" Campaign

Type: National Mobilization & Public Awareness Movement

Objective: Inspire women and girls to lead climate action, linking today's decisions with the survival of future generations.

Key Actions:

  • #AncestorsofTheFuture Challenge – storytelling on leadership and stewardship.
  • Women's Green Stories Series – profiling women environmental champions.
  • Intergenerational Dialogues – connecting elders and youth for knowledge exchange.
  • Tree Planting & Legacy Gardens – establishing symbolic and community-based restoration sites.

Expected Results / Impact:

  • Increased visibility and celebration of women's environmental leadership.
  • Strengthened intergenerational learning and mentorship.
  • Greater public mobilization for climate justice and environmental stewardship.
  • Expansion of community restoration actions and green movements.
