Movement-Building & Women's Leadership

1. Women's Leadership, Movement-Building and Environmental Governance.

We mobilize, organize, and equip women, girls, and youth from grassroots communities to national platforms to lead environmental justice movements and influence governance processes. Our approach/program strengthens leadership, promotes solidarity, agency, collective power and ensures that women and youth can act safely and effectively as environmental defenders and meaningfully engage in climate action, natural resource governance, and democratic decision-making.

2. Climate Justice, Adaptation and Resilience Building

We support gender-responsive, community-led climate solutions that protect lives, strengthen resilience, and safeguard livelihoods. Our work ensures that women, girls, and youth are central to climate adaptation and resilience initiatives at community and landscape levels.

Natural Resource Governance & Accountability

3. Natural Resource Governance, Security and Accountability

We strengthen transparency, accountability, and public participation in the governance of land, water, forests, minerals, and other natural resources. Our work ensures that women and youth environmental defenders are protected while communities are empowered to manage and safeguard their resources.

  • Monitoring extractive industries and environmental compliance
  • Strengthening women's leadership in natural resource decision-making and protecting defenders

4. Advocacy, Human Rights Protection, Policy Influence & Democratic Governance

We amplify youth and women's voices to shape policies, laws, and governance systems at national, regional, and global levels to ensure that gender, climate, and environmental justice are prioritized. We also protect environmental defenders especially women and youth through emergency support, safety measures, and capacity-building training, enabling them to continue their critical advocacy safely and effectively.

We strengthen the economic resilience of women, girls, and youth through green, sustainable, and justice-centered livelihoods that promote environmental stewardship, climate adaptation, and socio-economic empowerment. Our approach emphasizes value addition, market access, and digital solutions to maximize income, impact, and scalability.

  • Green livelihoods and entrepreneurship, eco-innovation, and circular economy enterprises
  • Support for women farmers, indigenous knowledge holders, and natural resource users, including value addition and product diversification
  • Expanding access to climate finance, markets, and digital platforms for trade, networking, and economic opportunities
Knowledge Generation, Research and Storytelling

We produce feminist evidence, elevate community voices, and leverage knowledge to drive advocacy, policy reform, and public awareness. Our work ensures that local experiences, women's leadership, and youth perspectives inform solutions to environmental, climate, and governance challenges.
